Surprise SCARY STORIES Teaser drops during Super Bowl

We knew at least one teaser would drop during the Super Bowl:  word circulated fast across social media yesterday.  Guillermo himself confirmed as much on this Twitter feed during the big game.

The result of Super Bowl Sunday was more than just a victory for Patriots fans (despised beings they are) , it was also a victory for horror fans who have been curious about this long-gestating Guillermo del Toro project.  A fifty six second teaser was shown for this film produced by GDT and directed by André Øvredal (Trollhunter, The Autopsy of Jane Doe) and it gave the gift of unsettling nightmares.
