IGN has posted an exciting preview of the new Hellboy video game by Krome Studios.
The game is headed for the XBox 360, PS3, and PSP, and it looks like the folks at Krome have really done their homework to make this game a faithful representation of the Hellboy universe.
Says the reviewer, “Although all we’ve seen so far with Hellboy is an early version of the graphics engine, with no hands-on time, we’re already starting to get a little red under the collar for this one. It was blindingly obvious from our time at Krome that the team worships the Hellboy character, and it shines through in the way they’ve so accurately captured the big guy onscreen.”

GDT dropped by the message board to tell us he is dropping out of his zombie video game project, Sundown. He was not specific but apparently was having some bad experiences with the video game industry. Too bad.

Yahoo! is reporting that Guillermo will be helping to develop a video game for Terminal Reality. The game, Sundown, will offer players the challenge of surviving an apocalypse of zombies and “other potentially fatal horrors.”
Said Del Toro, “I believe in the next 10 years, narrative media is going to shift to a hybrid of video games and movies,” he said. “This is a great opportunity for me to help be a bridge to what I believe is the future.”
Terminal Reality is the company that created the popular BloodRayne series.
Great news gamers! Thanks to Elessar for spreading the word.
