Guillermo tells U-Entertainment that he wants to take the jungle elements of the discussed Tarzan project to a “Spinal Tappy 11″. That’s good news for Del Toro fans who would love to see a highly fantastical version of the legendary ape-man character.

“I’m not being arrogant and saying, ‘I’m going to do the best Tarzan ever made,” says Del Toro. “I’m saying, ‘I’m going to do a different Tarzan.”

“I’ve got some freaky things in my head. That ape-man roar is going to make your ears bleed.”
