BloodyDisgusting reports that Danish film filmmaker Nikolaj Arcel will be directing the DC Comic adaptation of DEADMAN.
The film will be produced by Guillermo Del Toro, Angry Films’ Don Murphy and Susan Montford with Warner Bros. Studios.
Arcel is currently working on a Universal remake of the Danish film ISLAND OF LOST SOULS, a film about a suburban teen who becomes part of a centuries-old battle between good and evil after her brother is possessed by the spirit of an 18th century magician.
DEADMAN was originally planned as a directing project for Del Toro three years ago, but Guillermo has since stepped down and will continue on as a producer.
