THE ART OF THE STRAIN is a Must-Own for GDT Fans

Thanks to the lovely people at Insight Editions, I received a review copy of THE ART OF THE STRAIN, and as expected, it is another masterpiece behind-the-scenes archive for GDT fans.

The book covers Seasons one and two, and has all the features that you would expect from a GDT “Art of” book: interviews with the creators (del Toro, Chuck Hogan, Carlton Cuse) on the adaptation from book to screen, plus loads of concept art, set photos, props, VFX work, and character profiles.

The true beauty of the book comes from the journey inside Guillermo’s inspirations – from favorite books, European folklore, as well as sketches from his famous notebook – a personal highlight of mine.

Also of note, are pages and artwork from the Lumen, and gorgeous concept art and paintings from the likes of Guy Davis, Juan Pablo Garcia Tames and Mike Huddleston.

You can order the book now from Amazon below. Also, enjoy the special preview gallery from Insight Editions!
