NANCY KILPATRICK
Nancy Kilpatrick recently contributed the short story Sleepless in Manhattan to the Dark Horse Books Odder Jobs
collection.
Biography
Nancy Kilpatrick is the award-winning author of fourteen novels, five collections, about one hundred
fifty short stories, and she has just edited her eighth anthology, this one along with fellow writer
Nancy Holder. She has also written much non-fiction, a stage play, a couple of radio programs, and
three issues of the VampireErotica comics series, the stories based on her collection Sex
& The Single Vampire. Her most recent title is the non-fiction opus The Goth Bible: A
Compendium for the Darkly Inclined (St. Martin's Press, October 2004). Many of her titles are being
reprinted, including her vampire series Power of the Blood and her erotic horror series The
Darker Passions, written under the nom de plume Amarantha Knight. She lives in lovely Montreal,
Canada with her cranky black cat Bella, where surely Hellboy will one day show up, because the Euro-like
city throbs preternatural, bilingual energy.
